Trainer
Growing up I was a multi-sport athlete. The two sports I loved the most were hockey and lacrosse. These were the sports I thought were taking me to college. It turns out that I was a far better football player after joining the team in my junior year of High School. I ended up receiving a scholarship for football to a D1 school, UMASS.
Playing sports in college was incredible, I learned so much about hard work, commitment, and being a team player. An even greater highlight to me was when I trained the royal family in Saudi. The prince had injured knees and was not able to move without pain. It was very important to me to try and help him. Through intense research and thoughtful programming, I was able to bring the prince back to a normal life of activities and training after being told he needed knee surgery. It is one of the proudest moments in my life as a trainer!
After joining Just Train, I had an incredible opportunity to train the Royal family in Saudi Arabia. What I didn’t realize was how different my life would be living there. Becoming accustomed to the culture and lifestyle was extremely challenging. I had no one there with me and being away from my girlfriend made it so much harder. However, I made it through and I truly believe that was a turning point in my life. It made me mature as a man, I no longer was a pushover, and became my biggest advocate. I learned what being comfortable with the uncomfortable truly means.
I believe my purpose is to humbly and gratefully serve society. I wake up with an intense desire to help my clients and those around me to improve their lives. I learned in Saudi Arabia that the best way I can serve people, for me, is in the gym. I love seeing the progress my clients make through programming, consistency, and hard work. Knowing that working together increases their longevity in life is everything to me.
