I was born and raised in South Central, Californiabut“Atlantamade,” after our family moved there when I was 16years old. I played football all my life and was college-bound, but unfortunately and fortunately, Iended up playingbasketball in college. I played on a very under-recruited team thatended up goingto the Final Four for our division. The lessons I learned in those years from multiple coaches still drive me to improveevery day. One single interaction between one of my mentors and his client opened my eyes and made me realize I could make it by training people. Since then, I havebeen blessedto “BE ABLE” to train and help people, to work on myself, and never take anything for granted.
When my father passed away, I was 18 years old and felt completely lost. One of my coaches knocked on my door and, along with my mother, convinced me to leave Georgia and drove me to Florida. I went from junior college to a D2 college. The biggest lesson I learned from this turning point in my life was that things happen in life, and it’s not what happened, but how you respond.
To BE ABLE. My father passed away when I was 18 and not one day passes where I don’t
wake up feeling blessed to BE ABLE to positively affect my clients and the community.
